What if... we decided at Flamingo Road Church, that on our watch “Failure is Not an Option”.

This was the whole basis of Troy’s teaching this past weekend as we kicked off a new series called, “Essence: Essentials of a Successful Summer”. It was an amazing weekend, from beginning to end. Troy’s teaching was inspired by our trip to Kennedy Space Center last week with Baylee’s class from school. Now, I don’t want to give you all the details, cause you really do need to watch for yourself if you missed it, but here are just a few of the highlights…

If failure is not an option, then:
•    Our emotions will be engaged… Not just going through the motions, but making sure our heart, soul, mind is fully engaged.
•    Our intensity is increased… There will be intentionality in everything we do.
•    Our creativity explodes.
•    Our perseverance is pre-determined… We determine in our minds that no matter how difficult it gets, we will NOT quit.
•    Teamwork will happen… One is too small a number for greatness.

We had a great response time at the end of the service as Troy challenged all of us to make the commitment that on our watch, Failure is NOT an option. I was inspired, encouraged & challenged and am SO glad to be part of a church that is so passionate and intense in carrying out the vision God has given us…
