Prayer for Dad

My dad, Jim Gramling, is 65 years old and has been battling a growth on his tongue for two years.  It wasn't until after his fourth biopsy and a new doctor that they found out what the problem is.  His diagnosis is Dysplasia & Squamous Cell Carcinoma (Tongue Cancer).  Last week, he had 25% of his tongue removed and this Thursday, he goes to the doctor to find out his options and the next step.  While Steph and I are thousands of miles away and wish we could be there with him, we know that the Holy Spirit is alive and well in Paragould, Arkansas and will give him and his wife, Deborah, strength and peace.  His doctor is in St. Louis and he and Deborah will be driving up there on Thursday.  If you would leave a comment of encouragement or prayer, I know it would mean so much to my Dad and his wife.  Thank you for your prayers. We love you guys... Troy, Steph, Tyler, Carson and Baylee

Surly many people will offer prayers & support for your family during this time not only because you are our pastor, but it is the desire of the FRC family to do the right thing & join hearts together as they have in the past in so many other matters. Draw comfort in knowing that you & your family are loved & we will continue to pray for you.

We are praying for you, we know God is the God of the impossible. Whatever His will is we know is all for His glory. It is not easy to have this battle but always remember that we can do all things through Christ who is our strength. May God bless you a bring good news to you!
I battled in the past with some type of abnormal cells and where about to operate and in the moment that the doctor was examining all I did was give thanks for Jesus, and thanks because I know that on the cross my disease was nailed. After that no surgery was needed, they did not know how it dissapeared!!!
God bless you.

I know that difficult times like these seem to be overwhelming. I know you and your family believe in the power of prayer and the amazing energy it brings. This past year my sister got very ill, slowly her organs began failing, I tried to be strong but on the third day my husband found me on my knees, hands held high begging God to cleanse her of poison, to regenerate her body, the tears and emotions just overcame me and in that moment I realized I must surrender my worries about my sister to him, one week later, without clear understanding, a man approached at work, a stranger to me, he just caught me in the hallway and looked straight in my eyes and told me God is listening, if a group of believers pray, you will see God's work. 20 minutes later I got a call that my sister's renal levels were normalizing and that her renal tubes somehow were slowly regenerating. I believe all things are possible with God! Today my sister is perfectly normal- Amen. I hope this story brings you, your family and your father peace. The Lord will do what is necessary. May the Lord be with you- My family and I, Love you!

Recently there are 3 people I know battling cancer, two of which are terminal. I have been praying for them everyday and I know all will be alright according to God's will. Please wish your father and his wife, the best for me and tell them "God does not give you more than you can bear." These words were what I told my older sister 15 years ago this month, when her husband and the love of her life was dying of lung cancer. She said those words were what got her through it. I will add him and all the members of your family to my prayers. God Bless You All and Keep you.
